I am a resident of Irving, Texas, and I am available to tutor students in a variety of subjects. My specialty is French. I have a French Baccalaureate degree and a bachelor's degree in business operations and development psychology from American InterContinental University. In addition, I possess a teacher's certification in French and I'm a French Canadian global cross-cultural trainer. I am a native speaker of French and have traveled, studied, and lived extensively in French-speaking areas of Canada, Europe, and West Africa. For many years, I have been teaching both English and French to students and adults. I am committed to helping my students attain fluency in French, instilling in them an awareness of the culture, and ensuring their academic success. I am prepared to tutor students at all levels, from preschoolers through university students and beyond. I use varied techniques in tutoring, from traditional instruction in grammar and homework assignments to cooperative learning and exposure to music, film, literature, stories, and other cultural materials. I am happy to tutor pupils who are home-schooled. In addition to French at all levels, including AP classes, I tutor business, philosophy, social studies, world history, and European history. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling, photography, business, and education.
